with London Community Video Archive

Poster design by Rosen Eveleigh

A series of free screenings centred around watching community film projects from the London Community Video Archive.

These events will be centred around watching two community film projects from the archive called Fly A Flag For Poplar (1974) and All You Need Is An Excuse ((1972).

Both films document community groups in 1970's London coming together and using creative activities to make a difference in their local area.

Following the meeting there will be a chance to dicuss what is going on in your neighbourhood and share your ideas and opinions on what art can do, and can't do, for communitities today.

Screenings will take place;

7:00pm - 8:30pm Thursday at St. Augustine's Church, Slade Green DA8 2LW

10:00am - 11:30am Tuesday at Erith Library, 100 Erith High St, Erith DA8 1SL
