The London Community Video Archive (LCVA) is preserving the work of the Community Video movement in the 1970s and 80s, in London and the South East.

These events will be centred around watching two community film projects from the archive called Fly A Flag For Poplar (1974) and All You Need Is An Excuse ((1972).
Both films document community groups in 1970s London coming together and using creative activities to make a difference in their local area.
Following the meeting, there will be a chance to discuss what is going on in your neighbourhood and share your ideas and opinions on what art can do, and can't do, for communities today.
Screenings will take place;
