Erith Made was a three-day festival of creativity and community, which aimed to bring together the independent spirit of Erith residents, businesses, and community groups.

The festival was produced by a group of local residents called The Makers, who gave over 1,276 hours of their time to run it, in collaboration with Three Rivers and The Exchange.
Erith Made was delivered across three days and five local venues, including Riverside Gardens, The Running Horses pub and St. John’s Church.
Highlights included The Carnegie Ensemble, led by Erith resident and BBC Symphony Orchestra musician Phil Hall, performing at St John’s Church; Romzy Curates… an evening of new music curated by international rapper, producer, entrepreneur (and former London and South East College student) Romzy and friends; and the first annual Erith Talent Competition hosted by local performing arts organisation, Theatrebox showcasing gifted individuals and groups from in and around our community.
The Exchange is a community-owned organisation that uses the heritage of Erith’s Old Library - as a space that was designed and built by local people - to inspire new community-led programmes and activities.
