    The Crossness Wildlife Walk, led by J D Swann, was a beautilful opportunity to learn-about, connect and exchange-with the marshes of Thamesmead 🌾🌾🌾

    We observed the local wildlife, listened to bird songs, and sensed the landscape around us; finding opportunities for knowledge exchange and solidarity.

    This was the first event of beneath the pavement, the marshes, a new creative programme bringing artists, activists and ecologists together with local environmental and community groups working in north Bexley, to explore the ground beneath our feet.

    Crossness Nature Reserve

    Crossness Nature Reserve is in Bexley, South East London. It offers the last remaining areas of grazing marshland within the Greater London area, and the wildlife and habitats associated with it.
